Brian Rothwell - Trainer
Brian is a successful and experienced race horse trainer. Originally from Wexford, Ireland, Brian started his career riding racehorses when he was 16, before moving to England in 1986. His passion for training horses developed and he progressed from riding to training in 1990 when he moved up to North Yorkshire.
Brian has been successfully training flat and jumping horses, a combination of both home bred and horses he has been sent to train. Multiple winners include horses such as Ochos Rios, Queens Consal, Brandon Castle and Last Try.
Opal Storm is the latest winner, following in the hoof prints of Tinseltown and Rose Marmara.
Brian has some wonderful young horses coming through, with some exciting prospects for the future!
Charlotte - Travelling Head Lass
Charlotte is a reliable and hardworking addition to the yard team. She always makes sure the horses look and feel their best in the parade ring - being rewarded with winning best turned out a number of times in the winter season.
When not helping on the yard, Charlotte enjoys spending time with her own horses and spoiling her flock of pedigree sheep!
Abbey - Social Media and Marketing
Abbey is a recent addition to our team who manages our social media and marketing. She is also more than happy to get stuck in at the yard; mucking out, riding or sweeping, nothing is hard work!
Faye - Jockey
Faye rides our horses both at the gallops and at the races. Her knowledge and feel of each horse is integral for getting to know how our horses are feeling leading up to a race.
